Class of 2007

Class of 2007 started with 3 interesting subjects.

The good part is:
I need to attend 2 classes only as the other one is on research writing.

The interesting part is:
As part of the class project, we were assigned to organize an Open Day for InED, which will be held on 3rd week of March 2007. So we only have less than 2 months to get things rolling...

The biggest fear is:
I was appointed as a Project Leader for the event and now I'm having sleepless night, thinking about this whole project.

I need a BIG mug of coffee... Coffee please!!!

Appreciation Dinner at Saujana KL

Corporate clients with Saujana KL were invited to Appreciation Dinner last Friday (19 Jan) and Arabian Night was the theme for the night. Since most of the invitees came right from their offices, I pretty much had expected they will come in their office attire. Only few came in Arabian costumes. The organizers were all seen in their costumes, from Jeannie in the bottle (from S sizes to L sizes.. if you know what I mean..) to Sinbad and Prince of Arab. And they looked absolutely stunning. (and I forgot to take their photos.. unbelieveable!)

We were served with, not only the varieties of delightful taste of food and desserts but also performance from the belly dancers. I tell you, the erotic movements of their belly and hips made our eyes become wider and blinking either quicker than usual or not blinking at all.... hahaha.... Check this out!!! What an enjoyable night!!!

Old New House

I had a lunch-cum- exchange books with Kimi and Dnas at Pizza Hut, Giant KJ last Friday. I didnt bring any so I become the witness of the exchange. (Kimi and Dee, if you think that you lost a book, please refer to each other... hehehe).

My PIL will be moving out from SJ to stay with his second son in Nilai and almost all their things in SJ house will be moved to my old new house in BTP. This old new house I bought 5 years ago was all the time vacant. So last Saturday was the first ever cleaning been done to the house. Since hubby had to work last Saturday and my PIL was so eager to see and clean the house, I had to bring them there. I tell you.... cleaning @ washing the entire house in and out was indescribable. My clean-up area was outside the house while PIL was inside with the kids. Kalau part luar rumah tu, apa lagi.... membersih halaman rumah yang penuh dengan lalang yang dah mati dan menyangkul tanah sampai tangan melecet dan sakit seluruh badan. We were there from 2pm till 6pm. Soon reached home, after washed up, I was pampered with a massage by my loving hubby. Nice!!!... but my body is still aching.... I need a SPA!...

Entering 2007

School has started a week ago, Adam is now in morning session while Adli in afternoon session. My morning routine has changed by waking up much earlier than last year, to make sure Adam wakes up on time so that tak kelam kabut (mcm advert radio 'Sri Alam" at Era.fm), to prepare breakfast for him (breakfast is very important for kids. Adults suka hati nak breakfast ke tak nak!) and send him to school on time (hubby and I take turn in sending him to school every morning coz he works long hour).

I took a day-off on their 1st day of school, just to make sure everything goes well. As I was in the school, my boss called requesting me to finish the year-end report. "Ina, I forgot that you're on leave. Can you come to the office for awhile, just to prepare the report as we are late in sending it to the States." To me, the report can always be sent the next day because we have informed them Malaysia having a long holiday and with the time difference, I'm sure they won't noticed. Do I have a choice? Heck no! So I went to the office after sending Adli to school. I told him that I couldnt stay till recess and he was okay with that but I felt guilty as I stayed for Adam but had to go when comes to him.

On the 2nd day, I've arranged transportation for them. However, there was a miscommunication on which gate Adam should wait for the school van, which got me a little emotional. It was obviously my fault for not getting the right info. So Sorry dear. On that day, Adam finishes school at 1230pm. He waited at Gate B but the van waited at Gate C. Around 130pm, while I was in the office, he called my mobile from the school's public phone, telling me that he was still at school and the van didnt come (luckily he remembers my mobile #). I can hear his shaking plus in tears voice, at which I started in tears too. That's how emotional I can get. As we were talking, the line went dead as he only had 50 cents in hand. Panic rushed in, however I managed to tell him to wait at the canteen. I called the school to look for him, then I called the van driver to pick him up. Alhamdulillah, he got home safe and sound.
