Something blast?!

Another quiet weekend for me. Laze around watching TV with the kids. Not in a mood to do anything. Is it me or the age or the hormone or something? Confused!

Adam and Adli's birthday is coming, so I'm thinking of something blast for them. Well, it's not gonna be a party but something for them to enjoy. What would that be?!! *Sigh*..

It's a girl!

My brother, Nizam became a proud father to a baby girl. Congratulations bro...

The moment I held her in my arm, it triggers my mind to have a girl of my own. My wishful thinking of her having fair complexion and big eyes like her dad, long hair and dimple like me, and mixture looks and brain of both of us.

School Holidays activities.

2 days off from work to spend time with the kids during their 1-week school holidays.

16 March - Thursday

Hubby is working so it was an indoor activities - eating, cleaning, laughing, nagging, watching Astro (channel 60, 61, 62 & 63 - parents with kids should know this channel very well..). TV remote was totally conquered by the kids.

17 March - Friday

An outdoor activities - eating and shopping in KL. Pics with dream cars. Initial plan was with LRT ride to KL but time consume, we decided to drive. Hubby shopped for me, kids, me again and kids and.. what's for him?!!!.. hmmm

18 March

Visiting the animals activities at the zoo negara. My class was involved with the zoo carnival event so I brought the kids and hubby to join the carnival while me bz with the assignments. My PIL came too in the late afternoon with my nieces. I hope they enjoyed at the carnival. We arrived at 7.40am (that's very early) as my assignments starts at 8am. I left hubby and kids for their train ride in the zoo.

By 8am, the class gathered at the zoo administration office for a task briefing by the group leader of PLK students. Each of us was assigned at different locations, so we split and walk through our way. I was assigned at the main stage (picnic area of the zoo). Later in the afternoon, as I was walking my way to the zoo entrance from the main stage to hand over a pass to my classmate, I realised my brain has gone down the zoo drain, as I didnt know where I was heading to. I lost my track. I took one route, then another but end up back to where I came from. Duh!! I must be really exhausted. Anyway, it was an enjoyable and fun event where we got to meet Zainalabidin, Azura from the Disney Channel and watched live performance from Ahli Fiqir and Hazami. Though I'm not a fan of both but as for Hazami, I must say he really has a great singing voice, undeniable.

Overall, it was a physical challenge assignment. I enjoyed it and had fun smelling those animals' *tooot* (yuckss!), meeting people and selling items for fundraising.

19 March - Sunday

Woke up early in the morning for weekend class - 830am till 6pm. Whole body aching, keep yawning especially after lunch and sleepy eyes by 4pm. I dont know what the lecturers were lecturing...now where's my notes??

Today.. body is still aching.. ouchhh

Let's go to the Zoo..

I'll be taking a two-day off from office to concentrate for this weekend exams, which I doubt it when I'm at home. And this coming Saturday, I'll be at the zoo negara for a carnival, helping out the PLK students for their event. So, if you dont have any plan or dont know where to go this Saturday, lets head to Zoo Negara for some fun.. See you there!!

Eating Splendour..

Last weekend was supposed to be a quiet one for me to study since I'll be having a mid-term exam, which will be on the 19 March. Instead, I was little bz doing other things. Let see..

8 March.

On the night of my birthday, I had a nice quiet dinner at Armada PJ with hubby and kids. We had this long spread steamboat buffet promotion while Adam and Adli had their own choices of meals - Hainanese Chicken Rice & Foot Long Sausage. I was so indulged with the delicious food and the mouth watering desserts they served, I kept eating and eating (like havent been eating before) till my eyes rolled. (Burpppp.. excuse me). I was also given a free take-away of 3 slices of choc cake, cheese cake and marble cheese cake by the Armada. Yummy...

9 March.

I brought the cheese cake to the office and ate while doing my work. I love cheese cake but surprisingly, it took me from morning till late afternoon to finish the whole slice. I tell you.. riched with cheesssseeeee...

10 March.

Being one of "The One Club" member with The Saujana, I was invited to a cocktail reception, held at "Rumah Peranakan" (RP) Entertainment Centre, for a welcoming and farewell party for the hotel staffs. As usual, I went with my hubby, enjoyed very much the evening with more delicious food, eating till I felt short of breathe (this time no rolling eyes). Anyway, since it was my 1st time at the RP, I really enjoyed the evening with its nice cool ambience, sitting on an antique chair, eating with my dearest hubby.

11 March.

Babysit Tini's daughters. Later in the evening, my brother from Kulim came with his family. Another big dinner with lotsa satay kajang my brother bought on his way to SA.

12 March.

Weekend dinner at home with the 4 families came celebrating my SIL and nephew's birthday. Dining table were full with 8 boxes of Domino's pizzas.

The rest of the days, bz at office.

My birthday!

When I sign-in to my yahoo, hotmail and gmail this morning, I was surprised to see my inbox flooded with birthday wishes. I was really touched, excited and lucky to have circle of friends who actually remember the date. Also not forgetting my blogger friends. Muahss... Thank you all for the warm wishes. So this morning was a little bz thanking each of them personally.. Penat jari jemari I nih.. My sister sang to a birthday tune together with her little daughters over the phone.. it was really sweet.. Thanks Tini!

As the clock approaching 12 noon, I YM Lanie asking what she'll be having for lunch. Normally, I dont really go out for lunch as I'm lazy to walk but today, I felt like killing the time while waiting the clock ticking to 5pm (as usual), I decided to drive to Giant Kelana Jaya and have lunch with Lanie. So, we had our lunch at Shack (betul ke ejaan ni?). I had Nyonya Laksa and Lanie had Assam Laksa. And we talked, gossip, CNN and macam-macam lah... tak gitu Lanie..

Last night, I brought Adam and Adli to see a dentist. Adam had his tooth pulled out while Adli only had filling for a very tiny little hole. I was quite surprise to see both of them were actually brave enough to meet the dentist, not like those days when I was about their age. Menangis macam nak giler tak nak jumpa dentist. Takuttt!! Nowadays, dentist does not use needle to numb the gums instead they just spray it. No wonder lah.. Anyway, here is Adli having

March Angels Lunch date - Pt 2

I had a great time last Friday, with my great friends, Leilanie and Zura, great food and it was great altogether. Added with this great idea by Leilanie, where we buy each other a gift worth of RM10 and exchange them, make my day even more greater, grinning ear to ear, bringing home these gifts, showing them to my hubby and the kids... (and to remind them my birthday is coming...)

When Lanie suggested Penang Village for our lunch date, I was clueless. I don't know where this restaurant is. So Lanie suggested that we go in one car. Besides, TTDI parking is forever full, so we really don't want to waste our time searching for it. I parked my car opposite Kelana Jaya LRT, hopped in her car and we reached there nearly 1pm. We ordered 3 delicious dishes and as soon as the food arrived, no time to lose.. well, I guess all of us were really hungry as you can see...

While waiting for the food, the photo session begins... from the moment we arrived till the time we left the restaurant, the camera kept clicking, of course with a little help from the waiter. (and I'm still feeling the excitement while writing this.. :D)
