Breaking Fast in Subang

My mandarin oral test went okay. The test was actually scheduled on 23 Oct - this Sunday but since there will be many of them from other programs too, laoshi decided to ask if those who can make on 19 Oct - Wednesday to do it. So I called my coursemate, who is also good friend, Shareenaz, to join me on Wednesday. At first, I was not confident to do it early but since I have other plan on Sunday, might as well just finish it off. Well, it was quite an easy one. I managed to answer most of them tapi itu pun teragak-agak macam kereta rosak. Agaknya tension je laoshi menunggu I menjawab. Tapi ada lah pulak satu word ni yang I betul-betul lupa this mandarin word.. paobu (berjoging). Tension.. tension...

Yesterday, we all buka puasa kat my mother-in-law's house in Subang. My hubby, Shah and Adli went there earlier with his brother, Nazri. I went with Adam after I finished the test. The test was supposed to be at 6.30pm but laoshi came a little late coz of the traffic especially when it's raining. Yup, yesterday was raining quite heavily. So I finished almost 7pm. Luckily I brought some water and kurma for Adam and me to buka puasa before reaching Subang. But Adam doesnt like the kurma. On the way to Subang, he fell asleep. Kesian.. dia penat. I'm actually very proud with him coz he can really puasa whole day despite of his tight school schedule from morning 7.30am to Sekolah agama till evening 5pm for his Sekolah Kebangsaan. I dont expect that from a 7 years old boy. Kekadang tu bila dia balik sekolah.. "Mama, Adam letihlah... Adam nak minum..." tapi kena lah I motivate dia sikit. "Tinggal 2 jam je lagi Adam.. Sabar ye sayang..." So far dia tinggal puasa 2 hari je. Hmm.. terror gak Adam ni. Tapi I kena make sure dia bangun sahur. Ada gak time bila kejut sahur, dia tak nak bangun tapi still can puasa whole day. Caya lah Adam. Adli pun ok gak. Sahur bangun. Adalah few days je yang dia puasa penuh. Mostly, puasa half day je. Boleh lah tu.. Well done my sons...

Buka puasa kat my mother-in-law's house ni lain sikit from buka puasa at my home. Normally, we all buka puasa with nasi and lauk but in Subang, the tradition is no nasi and lauk but noodles, kuih-muih, murtabak, ayam goreng and apa2 lah as long as bukan nasi. Best jugak sekali sekala tu tukar menu.. Duduk sana tengok DVD lah.. layan my nieces and nephews lah.. Kekadang tu mengantuk gak. We stayed there till 10pm... On the way balik, me and my kids tido while Shah bawak sorang2.. kesian dia.. hehe..
