I can't really remember the last time I really had a good rest for myself. Or perhaps, never. (Besides sleeping). It's a routine for me, working 24/7 -- 5 days at work and 2 days at home. My day begins with sending kids to school, face the traffic every morning, greet the boss
with smile, see what need to be done, do some schoolwork when there's free time (I seldom eat lunch) and by 5pm, I rushed home to fetch them from school. Prepare dinner for my family (I'm staying with my dad. My mom passed away 4 years ago.. sob.. sob), ironing, washing, cleaning etc .. only God knows how tired that can be. (I feel like Cinderella-before-her-happily-ever-after).
Anyway, I'm proud with my kids as they have been a very good and independent since the day I sent them to daycare centre. That was about 3 years ago. They do help me around sometimes but I prefer do it alone. I had a really good maid for 2 years (yup, she was my first and the last maid I've ever had) but unfortunately (for me), she wanted to go back to Indonesia to be with her family. (Yes, she has a hubby and 2 kids, almost same age with my kids. Probably, she misses them a lot - to be rational.. ha ha). So my day ends at midnight. Well, time to "hit-the-sack".
